Melbourne-based jewellery designer Julia deVille creates her pieces using a mix of bone, hair, feathers, silver, gold and various taxidermied creatures. Originally hailing from New Zealand deVille produces her exquisite pieces under the label Disce Mori, meaning ‘Learn to die’.  The jewellery designer was recently interviewed on Australian Edge, noting her favourite piece:

…a taxidermy rabbit with it’s ribcage and forelegs cast in silver and a ruby encrusted heart hanging inside the ribcage.
