New Thoughts on Old Favourites
German-based product designer Hannes Grebin operates under the motto, “Design Rethink Development” and looking through his latest diploma projects it’s not hard to see why.
His designs include a rehash on the iconic Persian rug, mixing geometry with coded experience values in ‘Perser’;
combined harsh angles with cosy German bourgeois furnishings in ‘Ohrensessel’;

a redesigned German period wall unit into a functioning sideboard in ‘Schrankwand-Sideboard’;

and printable furnishings for those frequently on the move in ‘PlanB Flattened Furniture’.
