UnBeige informs us of news that the retail company behind the 19 year old Russian fashion designer Kira Plastinina has filed for bankruptcy. Plastinina made big news last year when she launched a series of stores across the US.
Having walked past the NYC one on Broadway over the last few months we got a sense of what went wrong – instead of bringing something new to the market through their unique roots, the Russians just brought a reinterpretation of global girly youth fashion culture.
