Chinese Bluegrass
Boingboing points us to a great example of “Chinese bluegrass.” The performers in the video are Mei Han’s Red Chamber (红åº) along with John Reischman and the Jaybirds. Instruments featured in this song (“Katy Hill”) are: liuqin (æ³ç´), mandolin, bass, pipa (çµç¶), guitar, sanxian (ä¸å¼¦), banjo, and ruan (é®).
