Good50x70: Propaganda for Good

The 2009 Good50x70 competition is now officially underway, encouraging anyone with the creative impetus to submit their self-made posters in support of seven charitable organizations for a chance to represent their causes on a global scale. The topics for this year’s competition are: Child Labour, Climate Change, Healthcare Deprivation, HIV/AIDS, Nuclear Emergency, War on Terror and Women’s Rights Deprivation.

Good50x70 is working with Amref, Amnesty, Emergency, Greenpeace, Lila, Unicef and WWF, whose specific briefs can be seen here. Participants can choose one or more cause, create their poster(s), and upload them into the Good 50×70 database for judging from March 1-April 1.

The best 30 responses to each brief will be used by the charities, exhibited around the world and published in Good50x70′s catalogue. Watch the video below for a quick, easy-to-understand explanation of how the project works:
