Another example of design over-thinking and actually doing damage (to the planet) that we found in Chicago O’Hare airport. Why did they possibly need to invent the electronic rotating plastic seat cover? While there is plenty of noise about green initiatives at this airport there seems to be a lack of attention to detail. If you’re going to go green, you have to go green – not have a service that says:
Old plastic cover is destroyed and never used again.
