Listable: A Place for Everyone’s Lists

By Scott Lachut on March 11, 2009

Even in our increasingly digital world of iPhones and Blackberrys, there’s something satisfying about a good To-Do list – the kind you write out on actual paper and cross items off of as tasks like “Drink Coffee” and “Fix the Economy” are completed. Or in another form, it’s hard to resist the allure of a Top Ten “fill-in-the-blank” list no matter how mundane the subject matter, both for the minimal commitment it requires of us and its infinitely debatable quality. From organization to utter enjoyment, the list already fulfills many of our most basic needs and now thanks to the website Listable - a simply designed ad-free environment - it has been given a permanent home on the internet.
