We’ve very excited to have Sean Khozin of Hello Health join us at PSFK Conference New York on April 2. Along with Dr Jay Parkinson (Hello Health), Richard Fine (Help Remedies) and moderator Colin Nagy (Attention), Jay will offer his insights both on improving communication in the healthcare industry, and between brands and users in general, through the incorporation of technology and social media.
First, who are you and what do you do?
I’m an internal medicine physician with specialized training in preventive medicine and cancer research. As a physician and a public health advocate, I’ve had a frontline view of the inefficiencies and shortcomings of our healthcare system. I’m currently involved in developing a new kind of healthcare experience called Hello Health, a technology-enabled enterprise that makes healthcare more accessible for patients and practicing medicine more streamlined for physicians. By using the Hello Health platform, people can schedule an appointment online to see their physicians in the office or communicate with them via email, IM, and video chat. For doctors, the platform reduces overhead and creates new channels of communication with patients.
You’ll be sharing your ideas on our “Building Healthy Brands With Heart” panel. In one paragraph, can you explain what themes and ideas you hope to touch upon during the discussion?
The doctor-patient relationship is the foundation of practicing good medicine and it’s driven by effective communication. The proper use of online technologies can greatly enhance this relationship, directing focus to understanding the individual needs of patients and creating a supportive environment where they can become empowered consumers of healthcare services. That’s one of the main premises behind our brand.
Thanks, Sean!

I have always gone to Call a Nurse for all of my health concerns. Because of my family history I need to have regular checkups and whenever I have a question I call Call a Nurse and they are always very polite and knowledgeable. It is very important to stay on top of your health and have a check up at least once a year to ensure that you remain healthy. Many health problems are curable but you need to catch them in time. Do not wait to go see a doctor because it may be too late

When choosing a doctor to take care of your medical needs you need to make sure that the doctor that you trust your most personal information to is keeping that information safe and secure.
