I must admit the "four bucks is dumb" billboard is pretty clever. But I wonder how the quality of their beverages stack up next to Starbucks. In my experience for a chain brand Starbucks has coffee on par with many gourmet espresso joints I frequent. McDonald's push to grab thrifty coffee drinkers is smart on their end. Starbucks risks tarnishing their brand if they play price wars game with Dunkin and the gold arches.
