Video: Fluid Sculpture Goes With the Flow

By Scott Lachut on May 15, 2009

Artist and clothing designer Charlie Bucket is fascinated by the fluidity of things, literally. On his blog Casual Profanity, he documents his early experiments with futuristic clothing compromised of a system of tubing with liquid circulating throughout. And though he still seems to be working out the logistics, the effect is rather stunning. As a result of the movement, the garments almost appear as though they’re alive.

The following video shows a prototype of his Fluid Sculpture. A larger version will be on display at the upcoming Maker Faire taking place May 30th and 31st.
