Next, Dr. Jay Parkinson and Dr. Sean Khozin introduced the audience to Hello Health, their healthcare service that aims to revolutionize the patient-doctor relationship and the way we think about healthcare in general. Through the use of technology like instant messaging, video conferencing, online calendar management, and online social networking, Hello Health helps patients receive more meaningful, direct, and immediate attention from their healthcare providers. Jay explained how doctors and medical counsel needs to be humanized and personalized – and that using the technology we’ve already integrated into our daily lives is just the first step in doing that.
