<description>I saw the posting asking why some companies that make seating don&#039;t design airplane seats. Steelcase seating technology has been licensed to the leading airplane seat manufacturer in the world, B/E Aerospace. B/E Aerospace has taken key elements of our seating techcnology like the LiveBack and Natural Glide system and incorporated it into airplane seats. If you have the opportunity to fly Japan AirLines, Cathay Pacific, and now AirFrance, some of their planes now use our seating technology. Customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Look for more airlines to begin using Steelase seating technology in the future as well. This same technology is used in the Steelcase Leap chair, as well as in the Steelcase Think,Siento and Amia chairs.
