Woobius Online Architecture Collaboration

No matter how far architecture has advanced thanks to innovative designs and modern materials, much of its creative process is still stuck back in the 20th century, until now. Online startup Woobius offers a set of easy to use information sharing tools that have been developed by an architect to enable fast, intuitive collaboration.

Woobius’ features include an online ‘dropbox’ that allows file sharing between firms, and a ‘vault’ that allows for online collaborative document work—so that companies and architects around the world can stay on the same page while dealing with ongoing projects, no matter how complex. The site, which now boasts 2500 users working on 100 projects across 27 countries, is free for the first 200MB of storage, charging £10 per gigabyte per month beyond that.

  1. Looking forward to learning more. Architectural firms tend to HAVE lots of technology resources, but RARELY use them in effective ways. I think referring to the 20th century is generous ;)

  2. Hmmm…it’s file sharing with an audit trail. That’s good. But we still need DECISION/APPROVAL tracking tools.

  3. Hi Jeremy, I’m the CEO of Woobius. Decision/Approval tools are on their way. But in the meantime, I hope you will enjoy using Woobius with all its simplicity!
