Danger: “Their Site Is Flash-based”

On our trawl for stories we noticed an interesting phrase being used by the writers over on the Make magazine blog. As they discussed some work by a French company and offered a link they felt they had to round off the post with a warning:

(Beware, their site is flash-based.)

This notice regarding Adoble’s web software is probably less about trust or security but more with effort and time wasted. Companies seem to insist on using Flash for heavily designed animated sites despite the growth of info-snacking culture.
