Obviously, as stated by Google for months now, this the base of what they purchased from Grand Central with many added features. Google has recently only started to send out invitations under the new Google Voice platform; so there are many new users testing out the Google Voice version, as well as the Grand Central users. Having been a user of both, what Google has done is ten times better than Grand Central and its developments deserves to be noticed. Don't be such a curmudgeon.
