House in Japan Makes Room for Plants

House in Japan Makes Room for Plants

By Dave Pinter on July 15, 2009

Green space in Japan in fairly hard to come by but architects at Suppose Design Office have completed a residence in Nagoya that brings the yard inside. The house is located on a narrow lot and didn’t have any extra space for a garden. The client really wanted to have plants in view. SDO created an interior “garden room” that wraps around the living space and connects the lower rooms. The airy design blurs the perception between inside and outside.
