PayPal: What’s a Little Bribery Amongst Friends?

By Scott Lachut on July 8, 2009

Let’s face it, times are tough and as a result, we can’t expect to rely on the kindness of our fellow men and women to always do us a favor free of charge. Still, as the prevailing wisdom goes, money and friends don’t always mix well, unless of course, you’ve included a written contract along with your request. PayPal’s new service, “Do Stuff For Money,” endeavors to do just that.

Simply fill out the form stating your offer and then email your proposal (indecent or otherwise) to the intended party. If the agreement is fulfilled, PayPal conveniently steps in as the intermediary to complete the transaction. And so you’re aware of what the going rate is for various goods and services, the site maintains an archive of pending offers for public consumption.
