The Mohawk Group Staging Live And Virtual Events To Help Displaced Architects And Designers

By Dave Pinter on July 6, 2009

Carpet manufacturer The Mohawk Group has been staging a workshop tour around the US that began earlier this year. Called Re:work, it is a series of seminars for designers out of work looking for help in repositioning their careers and offering a dose of optimism. Due to the success of the live events, the company has just announced several free Webinar versions of the seminars that anyone can sign up for. Topics covered include resume writing for designers, polishing interviewing skills, and creative career coaching. The web events will take place later this month and are limited to 100 attendees per workshop. To register, check the ‘Upcoming’ section of the calendar here.

Four live events are scheduled in Seattle, Portland, Washington D.C., and Phoenix/Scottsdale over the course of the summer.
