The future of low-cost air travel is not looking all that comfortable. We noted last week that China’s low-cost Spring Airlines was considering offering standing tickets, and they’re not alone in considering seating alternatives. Ryanair has been talking with Boeing about changing the seating in a number of their airlines to create space for “vertical seating”. If the plan goes through, travelers looking for a cheaper fare can choose to stand throughout the duration of the flight. Approximately four rows of seats would be removed for the venture. Ryanair has stated that for the duration of the flight passengers wouldn’t be fully standing, there would be a stool-like piece of furniture to sit or lean on.

Michael O’Leary and RyanAir would stack people like they did in slave ships if he could make a few Euro from it.

it’s the low cost model… but sometimes it’s just not possible.
Boeing’s communication manager, said that due to securities issues they’ll not make passengers stand during flights.
So i think it’s just an O’leary trick to make people talk about his firm
