WoodStation: LED Alarm Clock Built into a Wood Block

By Nicko Margolies on July 29, 2009

The WoodStation is a LED alarm clock, calendar and weather forecasting unit built into a wood block.  The front is actually a fake-wood laminate that allows the display to hide until the movement sensor picks up activity.  The luminous display is bright enough to work in direct sunlight and serve as a bedside clock or mounted on the wall.

The WoodStation is great in the mornings as it can provide all the information you need for the day and comes in a nice subtle design.  In addition to an illustrated forecast, the weather includes the current temperature and humidity.  The WoodStation comes in Maple or Walnut and is currently being sold for the rather steep price of £89.95.
