Homemade Camera Rig Takes Beautiful Pictures from the Edge of Space

As a hobby project, Jim Gordon made a computer controlled camera, sealed it in a protective case, an floated it into the air using a weather balloon. It ended up traveling 100,000 feet above Earth, to literally the edge of space. The resulting photos are absolutely beautiful. In the future, Jim plans on sending up a video camera.
