Bake Shop Offers Cookies Fresh From the Oven in Two Minutes

By Scott Lachut on September 10, 2009

Combining the convenience of fast food with the personalization of homemade, Toronto’s Sweet Flour Bake Shop hopes to cash-in on a business model that caters to individuals who want their cookies fresh from the oven, but without the wait. Once ordered, the customized creations are ready in two minutes, hardly a long time for someone seeking their next sweet fix.

Customers choose from one of three basic doughs – original, peanut butter and oatmeal – select their desired ingredients to “mix-in” from among 20 options that include chocolate chunks, dried fruits and nuts and moments later a warm cookie is ready to eat. Along with their signature cookies, Sweet Flour also offers customizable muffin tops, cookie sandwiches and granola.
