For those of you who may be overwhelmed or just plain turned off by Facebook’s constant additions of new features and layout changes, there is great news. You can now avoid all that by switching to Facebook Lite. It’s the Facebook we all know and love, but just stripped down to the core elements. You can message your friends, view/post on people’s walls, and post pictures. All this without being bothered by what character that girl you graduated with would date from Twilight and other such annoying apps. If you’ve been a part of this social networking site from the beginning then you may notice that Facebook Lite is taking the site back to how it was a couple years ago. Mark Zuckerberg and his team seem to have paid attention to the feedback from the Facebook community and simplified.

No big leap required to imagine the next step will be making Facebook “heavy” into a subscription-based service. If nothing else, Zuckerberg has at least given himself that option. Smart move.
