Google Fast Flip Brings Print Style Navigation to the Web

By Dan Gould on September 15, 2009

In a move that aims to better recreate the experience of browsing through a print publication, Google Labs has introduced a new tool named Fast Flip. The interface allows readers to quickly navigate through pages of pre-loaded content in a motion that is similar in speed to flipping a page over. Users can also search and share content with friends right from the same interface.

Only a select few mainstream publications are included in Fast Flip at the moment, but the ease at which it handles quick browsing could make it a go-to tool for both content producers and consumers.
