Maya Lin’s Systematic Landscape

By Piers Fawkes on September 22, 2009

PSFK visited Maya Lin‘s large scale installation ’2 x 4 Landscape’ recently which is on view at Pace Wildenstein as part of the show ‘Three Ways of Looking at the Earth’. The 1,900 square feet piece uses 50,000 wooden pieces (Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified) to create the form of a hill or wave that rises to over 10 feet tall.
