Sculptor Christopher Fennell created a bus shelter in Atlanta from three decommissioned school busses. Exterior slices of a ‘62,’72, and ‘77 buses were joined together and the seating is from an old city bus. Interesting mix of creative reuse of materials and their context.

  1. This series of installations along Atlanta Highway is actually in Athens, GA, not too far from the University of Georgia campus. Quite nostalgic to see them again. I remember thinking that they must be part of an interesting art installation when they first appeared, but did not know any of the details until now. Great find, Dave!
