This past weekend we had the opportunity to attend the Planning-ness conference at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, lead by PSFK friend (and Likemind SF host), Mark Lewis.
The theme of the conference was “get excited and make things”, and brought together an extraordinary group of multifaceted speakers to cover a wide range of topics from ‘How to create advocacy and conversation’, to ‘How to create a good game’.

The event was a much needed breath of fresh air for the planning community. Instead of just listening to lectures, the sessions included hands-on learning by doing activities like: designing Twitter clients, concepting Google Chrome applications and learning how to be stand-up comedians.

If you missed the opportunity to attend Planning-ness, decks and videos from the various sessions will be posted here.
