H&M’s Analog Retail Search Engine

H&M’s Analog Retail Search Engine

By Dan Gould on October 29, 2009

Celebrating H&M Home’s transition from an online and catalog retailer to a physical showroom, design firm UXUS have constructed a unique experimental retail installation.

The exhibit uses a series of pulleys and levers that are attached to different products. As items are picked up, price tags and other objects lift up and react. UXUS wanted to explore solid physical interactions with the installation as a counter to the dominance of digital systems in the world today.
