Only five days after announcing their new name for the Vegemite spin-off – ‘iSnack 2.o’, Kraft have ditched the controversial branding name. Stating that the new name had “simply not resonated with Australians. Particularly the modern technical aspects associated with it”, Kraft will once again hand over the new naming rights to the public. A true example of crowd-sourcing gone wrong, Kraft have denied the tech-savvy name was a publicity stunt. Regardless, the brand has receive huge online coverage through local bloggers and social media portals.
Thanks Kat Frost for the tip off.

As a suspicious Australian (disappointed that we won’t see a public execution of the tosser responsible for this debacle) I think Kat Frost is to close a name to KRADT not to be in some way connected. So, Kat Frost, are you in any way connected to Kraft or providing social media monitoring services? Time to fess up.
