Manzine: A Return to the Lo-Fi Print Zine Aesthetic

Manzine: A Return to the Lo-Fi Print Zine Aesthetic

By Dan Gould on October 12, 2009

Ray Cha let us know about an intriguing new men’s zine out of the UK called Manzine. Produced by a group of writers and designers who write for more mainstream magazines such as The Guardian and British GQ, Manzine is a quirky, DIY take on the glossy male-focused publication. Lo-fi materials (it looks photocopied), obscure articles and a rough-hewn aesthetic give Manzine a distinctive quality that’s hard to come by these days. The zine is distributed at various locations around London, and is also available for order on their website.

Check out their blog for more information, and excepts from the latest issue.
