(Pic) Corn Grows in Brooklyn?

The Boerum Hill area of Brooklyn may be getting a touch of urban farming to counter newly installed sidewalk extensions. Artist Christina Kelly has submitted plans to plant native varieties of corn in planters throughout the area. Though the project may seem out of place, the Native Americans reportedly grew corn in the same area of New York.
