Relatious: Thematic Micro-Blogging Focused on Relationships

By Dan Gould on October 21, 2009

All too often, social networking sites become a place where oversharing becomes the norm – inane and overly personal thoughts are shared with little regard for the audience at hand (to witness some backlash to this phenomenon, see STFU Marrieds and STFU Parents).

Relatious is a website that’s looking to siphon off some of this personal information, specifically all things to do with relationships. Similar in format to Twitter (except that posts can be 400 characters) members can put up thoughts, or pose questions about whatever they are dealing with relationship wise. And for those looking for discretion, there is an anonymous mode as well.
