Singalo takes a fresh approach to online dating and works with the idea that a lot of people know someone wonderful who is single. The free site is built on recommendations, where the dater’s profile is written and submitted by a friend, although nothing is published without the consent of the single in question. This concept takes away a lot of the stigma associated with online dating for the younger generation and allow friends to act as matchmakers on the internet.

The profiles have the opportunity to be more convincing and fun, and possibly more accurate since it is written by someone who loves the person and who might know them better than themselves. Of course, it is also possible to sign up yourself without a friend describing your main qualities. The site is growing rapidly and targeting the 20-something crowd in advertisements appearing on Spotify.
