Todd Selby For Nike 6.0

Well-known to fashionistas the world over, photographer and artist Todd Selby recently embarked on an interesting project with Nike for their Fall/Winter ‘09 Apparel campaign, travelling across the US to Tahiti, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and Brooklyn to speak to Nike 6.0’s top athletes. 6.0, Nike’s specialist action and youth sports brand, includes skateboarding, snowboarding, and BMX bike riding among other activities, and Selby has beautifully and vividly documented the spirit and passion the athletes have for what they do.

The athletes include Ben Horan (Wake/Georgia), Garrett Reynolds (BMX/ Toms River, New Jersey), James Stewart (Motobiking, Florida), Mason Aquirre (Snowboarding, Duluth, Minnesota), Michel Bourez (Surfing, Tahiti), and Nigel Sylvester (BMX biking, Brooklyn). In true Selby style, there are also handwritten interviews which make for an entertaining read.
