Architects Envision NYC Underwater

By Dave Pinter on November 16, 2009

NY-based Studio Lindfors have released a new series of images titled ‘Aqualta” that depict the effects of long term flooding on New York City and Tokyo. The images represent a possible scenario if ocean levels rise and flood the cities. While having disaster movie overtones, the images propose the re-emergence of low technology. Wooden catwalks span between building, airships cruise the skies, and residents use small boats to move around the city.
