Mark Twain once wrote that “the only way to keep your health is to eat what you don’t want, drink what you don’t like, and do what you’d rather not”. Sometimes it’s hard not to agree with Mr Twain, given some peoples overbearing sanctimony against all things non-micro-biotic.

However, in Food Secret, the brain-child of Sergio Mottola, there may be an answer. Based on a foundation of fresh produce, international culinary techniques and solid nutritional value, Food Secret is trying to position itself as London’s health conscious take-away restaurant of choice. The menu is kept in a state of continual flux, whilst tailor made options put the customer in charge of their own ingredients and meals, offering the chance of bespoke, healthy fast food.

Food Secret explains their manifesto:

Our mission is to reveal the secret of the ultimate food experience and share it with you.

We source the best and freshest ingredients; we harness international techniques to invent new recipes that intensify the taste of every single ingredient.

We challenge chefs, nutritionists and food experts together with architects, composers, writers, designers, and software geniuses to join forces and conceive new and provocative food experiences.

There was no simple system in place to instantaneously measure the nutritional values of what we eat. So we’ve devised one to do just that.

This magic combination of passion, creativity, research and devotion is just one of the secret ingredients to delightful food. Until we’ve unveiled the rest, we’ll persist on our mission.

We are on a pioneering food journey and we would love you to join us.
