Kidrobot Hits London

Kidrobot Hits London

By Tarik Fontenelle on November 23, 2009

This past week, London witnessed the official launch of Kidrobot’s first permanent British store, as the US-based premium toy maker followed up on the resounding success of its pop up store from earlier this year in Selfridges. With a wide range of limited edition toys, alongside customarily creative clutter and the rather racy apparel line, the launch, which attracted a 500 strong crowd, was also graced with the TADO team – two UK artists from the Kidrobot collective who were customizing toys on demand for the bustling fans. The launch was a resounding success as Kidrobot mania enveloped the capital in a move that shall bring huge exposure to a brand that has long been restricted to American shores.
