We’ve been noticing a return to simple materials as designers and consumers alike warm to the aesthetic, environmental and economic benefits of products made from these natural elements. The Felt Wine Rack created by Boston-based ETCETERA Media is a lovely example of this minimalist paradigm. The design can hold up to six bottles and when not in use folds flat for easy storage.

Felt is a textile manufactured from naturally renewable and fully biodegradable raw materials and is gaining renewed attention for its capacity to insulate against heat, cold, sound and vibration, along with its ability to wick away moisture.
