We’re not too sure if Union Square market in NYC always sold brussels sprouts on the stem but by the reaction of many shopper the sight does seem to be a novelty. Is this a sign of food producers reintroducing us to a more simple and basic way of presenting food?

A step back from the market, I remember being amazed at seeing asparagus growing out the ground in the way it does…liked it ever since.

Now this is a smart move in bringing the mountain to mohammed… wonder if people could actually start liking these perverse little vitamin rich vegies.
