Tretorn Spring '10 Preview

There’s nothing like thoughts of spring to get New Yorkers through a cold and drizzly winter – and this past Thursday, the folks over at Tretorn were kind enough to invite us to view their upcoming spring ’10 collection, giving some bright shiny wellie visions of the future. Held at Happy Monkey Studio, the Scandinavian shoe giant (which outfits everyone from tennis pros to Swedish farm workers) had transformed the space into a make-shift bocce ball court replete with astroturf and players dressed in white. While Tretorn boasted many of their classic styles they’ve been making popular for over a century, they also unveiled some newer women’s and men’s designs, as well as highlighting their recent collaboration with COMMES des GARCONS, which is sold at select retailers and also includes a women’s collection.
