Booji Shoes Are Animal As Well As Street Friendly

It’s no surprise that shoe- enthusiasts have been scratching their heads lately as to what the future of women’s shoe’s will be. While most footwear purveyors have been veering towards creating Americana and heritage pieces, there’s still a strong interest in streetwear as well as eco-safe design. Stepping up to the challenge of creating functional as well as trendy shoes is San Fransisco- based design team Booji, which according to their site:

“Is an independent footwear and accessories line for women, that not only produces innovative shoes, but also focuses on using animal friendly materials and green responsible products, always aware of their carbon footprint. Though Booji is rooted in the Cali lifestyle, Booji was conceptualized one summer day on a train from Frankfurt to Berlin. Founder and head designer, MDot, took these concepts and mashed them up with influences from her daily life and travels and put them into production. The end result is footwear to compliment a look or to wear as a tried and true staple.”i pro

While the side pockets conjure images of Kangaroos and raves gone by, many of their simpler designs have a sleek euro look which perfectly compliments a pair of skinny jeans and an inclination for travel.
