Gesture Controlled Mobile Phones

Researchers from Tokyo University are working on a mobile phone interface that uses hand gestures to control device functions. A camera on the front of the phone tracks hand and finger movement in 3D space, translating the motions into cursor movement, drawing and other on screen actions. A special camera that captures 154 frames a second is needed for this process.
