Mophie Credit Card Reader For iPhone
Last year, a software update to the iPhone system allowed for applications to work with peripherals and CES 2010 will see a number of innovations announced at the electronics show. iPhone accessory maker Mophie plans to launch a reader that connects to the iPhone and allows the user to swipe cards through it, like you would do a check-out. While the iPhone already has an-app-for-that for credit card transactions it will be interesting to see the impact on retail, entertainment and even peer to peer trade when devices like credit card readers for phones become more prevalent.
