The Outdoor fireplace by Norwegian architects Haugen/Zohar has been created with children in mind. The architects wanted to combine an enclosed space that could provide both warmth and a place to sit around a fire and tell stories. Working with a limited budget, the creators used leftover construction materials from a nearby construction site. They took inspiration from Norwegian turf huts and log construction. The finished structure is not only pleasing to the eye, but somewhere to bring back the art of storytelling.
