Snow Magazine
When Jean Snow moved to Tokyo a few years ago he started a blog in French to share thoughts about Japanese inspiration with his fellow Canadian Arcadians. As one of the few blogs at the time reporting a Westerners point of view from inside Japan, the site soon became popular and Snow switched to English and his readership grew. With his uncanny knack of spotting great creative ideas in a sea of novelty, Snow was first invited to run the influential but short-lived Pingmag, contribute to a column in the Japan Times and more recently worked with Mark Dytham to help him expand Pecha-Kucha.
Snow has now returned to his roots and launched the new Snow Magazine – a Tokyo-based online magazine featuring news and guest columns covering the cultural landscape of Tokyo and Japan. Topics include Architecture, Design, Fashion and Retail. At PSFK we try to resist writing about new sites until they’ve matured andf proved themselves but with Snow’s pedigree we have to immediately recommend that PSFK readers subscribe to the RSS for a daily tsunami of creative ideas.
