The Future Of Play: Siftables Make Digital More Physical
Sifteo, a new venture-backed consumer electronics start-up aims to make the digital world a lot more fun. Founded by graduates of the MIT Media Lab, they created Sifteo to share their research with the world. Siftables, their first product, are sets of cookie-sized computers equipped with motion sensing, neighbor detection, graphical display, and wireless communication. Working harmoniously to form a single interface, users can physically manipulate Siftables by piling and organizing them to interact with the digital information contained within, creating a new platform for tangible games.
