Web Seer Gives Insight Into Human Curiousity

The Web Seer is a project developed by visual communications researchers Fernanda Viégas and Martin Wattenberg. The tool draws from the Google Suggest responses associated with phrases users enter frequently, giving insight into what others are asking when they search the web. The Web Seer interface also allows for comparisons between similar phrases like “will he” and “will she,” visualizing the overlapping similarities.
