Flashlight Becomes Another Point For Technological Convergence

In a play that looks to marry satellite mapping features (like Google Maps) technology with the utility of a hand held device, Tamtam’s concept flashlight aides our obsession with re-outfitting previously simple utilities with technologically advanced capabilities. Here however, we find a utility’s revision actually helping rather than just augmenting its capabilities.

The concept design proposes a flashlight that could project fully-featured maps on flat surfaces, as well as directional pointers that could be projected nearly anywhere.
