Core77 points us to this work by installation artists and visual designers Grosse8 & Lichtfront. The team created a 2.5 meter tall irregular and spiked sculpture and then projected imagery and light from 4 projectors around it. The effect creates an impression of animated 3D space.

We have seen this before – in July 2007, we wrote about the Pablo Valbuena’s Augmented Sculpture.
