Boards Magazine Rethinks Navigation Using Augmented Reality

With the print industry floundering to remain relevant, Boards Magazine in collaboration with Free Art & Technology have developed a new kind of augmented reality cover. Utilizing open source software, the creative team built a narrative interface that uses the location of the magazine cover to move through content. By moving the physical magazine into different positions, new animations or text appear on screen.
